Does anybody here know if Karl has written a book or it's just a rumour?
I don't mean the introduction of David Buckley's "Kraftwerk: Publikation".

He is in the process of writing one. He has been in the process of writing one for years.
I know this to be fact as I have had a FB chat with him about it.

I've heard the rumours about the book as well, but it might be stuck in development hell because of the icy tension between Karl and Ralf nowadays, especially after all the controversy over Wolfgang's book.

It seems we have no other choice but to wait patiently.

I don't think it's to do with "tensions" .. it's just a matter of scheduling
But yes .. as Kraftwerk fans our best quality is "patience"

Small interview dubbed in English
Is it a good read?

I am reading it at the moment and ive already read like the half. its really interesting to read how kraftwerk produced their albums, how they were in tv shows and how they did live concerts. also its really interesting to read what he did before and after kraftwerk. i recommend it to all kraftwerk-fans.

I think we've pretty much known this since those Techno Pop/Sex Object demos appeared on bootleg CDs in the 90s. This interview makes me think that those recordings were sourced from Karl himself.

I´m pretty sure that those recordings were sourced from the never released second single. Techno Pop on the A side and Sex Object on the B side (the first single was Tour de France). Just look at the edit and the length.
